The Actor’s Edge is an established provider of high quality and affordable dramatic arts instruction for aspiring young actors in the Atlanta area. Our company has experienced steady growth since our founding in 2008 as we’ve watched our student enrollment climb into the hundreds.
Our original and innovative programming leverages the professional training and experience of our instructors. Our students learn and practice the same techniques used by professional actors and we have honed these techniques to better resonate with children between the ages of 7 and 17.
Although having fun is a big part of what we do, creating realistic and interesting characters is hard work for any actor. Script analysis, technique work in character development, improvisation and working with scene partners are but a few of the important aspects of our programming.
The Actor's Edge operates within the Red Clay Theatre & Arts Center in historic downtown Duluth, Georgia. Programs run throughout the school year in twelve-week sessions. Each session brings a different focus and concludes with a unique, exciting performance that family and friends are encouraged to attend!
